What is metering?

You require a metering agreement to be set up alongside your energy retail contract so that the energy retailer can bill you correctly and the meter provider will always be a third party provider. Every broker or retailer has a preferred provider they work with and will nominate on your behalf. We handle the nomination process, so you don't have to worry about it. This arrangement also ensures we have access to your usage data throughout the contract, enabling ongoing account management. For smaller energy accounts like SMEs and RESIs, these agreements may be bundled in and not directly visible to you.
