What happens if my usage goes up/down over the lifetime of the contract?

Most retailers provide a lot of flexibility in their contracts to allow for any usage changes, see load flex below:

Shell Energy: Unlimited

Momentum Energy: Unlimited up to 5GWH

Origin Energy: Unlimited up to 10GWH

Smartest: Unlimited up to 2GWH

Engie: Unlimited up to 5GWH

AGL Energy: Unlimited up to 50GWH

Energy Australia: 20% of their load. 300,000kwh + you'll need to stay within 20% up or down. They may provide more allowance upon approval.
